Instrument donations can be dropped off at either of the Gretna Public Libraries. If you’d like a thank you card and/or receipt, please place your name, address, and phone number in the case.

Turn the Storage Unit Green Campaign
Matt’s Music Memorial provides refurbished instruments to students who might not otherwise be able to participate in music programs. We take donated instruments and offer them on scholarship to applicants enrolled in school music programs, making music possible for kids from all walks of life.
After donation, each instrument in our storage unit is tagged with a color.
RED: Instruments that need repairs before being issued to a student.
YELLOW: Instruments that need a new case.
GREEN: Instruments that have everything they need for the next young musician to discover their love of band or orchestra.

We are currently in a multi-year effort to turn every tag in our storage unit green, but we need your help!
Sponsor an instrument at the price points listed below, or choose other to make a donation that works for you. Matt’s Music Memorial is a 501c3 charity, and donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
Suggested donation points are set based on our average cost to repair a donated instrument.
$50 sponsors a percussion instrument.
$100 sponsors a brass instrument.
$150 sponsors a woodwind instrument.
